Based in Croydon and established in 1999, Qdos Computer Consultants Ltd provides comprehensive IT support, training and consultancy to all manner of organizations, predominantly throughout London and the South East.

Since Windows released some security updates for Office 2013 in February 2016 we have had several clients complain that Word 2013 32 bit freezes up to the point that it's unusable.
A client of ours works out of SharePoint 365 every single day and opens all documents in their local Office applications.
Many things can cause Outlook to go into a “Not responding” state when it first opens and so identifying the right fix can be tricky.

UPDATE: Unfortunately this issue has returned after using Outlook for a while, however closing and reopening Outlook seems to fix it again (temporarily).
There are times when you need to find the Id (a Guid) of a list – for example, when using jquery to pull data from a list. Here’s a simple way of doing this:
